Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Not a good place to work

Juniper is a disaster. When I started three years ago, I was actually excited about my new job. But had I known what I know now, I would've sprinted for the hills. I can't decide which is worse: the utter disregard for employees, the toxic atmosphere, or the pathetic compensation. I can’t think of a single redeeming quality about working here.

Juniper is a horrible place to work, run by finance and totally dishonest to their staff. Get out as soon as you can. I did and have never looked back with regret

You are exacrky right. 3 years ago was indeed awesome. I was here then also. (I'm not the original OP by the way)

That's before we had the farm up for sale. Not many companies want to invest in a company whose being bought by a subpar company.

That is where the aforementioned cr-ppy commissions come into play.

I retired three years ago, so recent experience I don't know. But your comment about pathetic compensation sounds fake. It was always good when I was there, and if it is so bad, why did you take the job???

I’ve been here 15. I do think the last couple of years has been the messiest from a leadership/organizational perspective. But given that pretty much no one is working these two weeks I’m thinking HPE might not be too bad. Of course, as long as sales don’t flounder resulting in large layoffs. As a high performer I’m always confident making it through layoffs <5%.
