Thread regarding National City Corp. layoffs

Hey, more upcoming layoffs for employees in the Miami Valley. PNC Financial Services Group said Tuesday that they will eliminate 74 jobs at the National City Mortgage operation by the end of December. The cuts are a part by PNC, which acquired National City in December 2008, to eliminate nearly 6k jobs nationwide within the next two years. PNC announced that they will begin letting go workers on 9/30, though most of the cuts will occur December 28. The company will still continue to employ more than 1k workers at the Dayton office.
