The merger with Merck will bring many changes, while Schering-Plough\'s business is sound there are now many redundancies in the back office (payroll, AP, AR, HR, finance and marketing)and I\'d expect deep cuts in this area. Also, the IT folks, brace for a shakeup as the shops consolidate - my hunch is that several thousand jobs will be lost when everything is said and done...
