AJG Sucks

New applicant beware, if your not one of the cronies or a family member of management then don't expect to get ahead at AJG. Corporate level management is bad at communication, nothing like a unexpected phone call to let you know your working more than forty hours instead of 35 at no pay increase for the increased hours. They expect certain things of you even if you have no idea or have not had adequate training on the matter. Had several opportunities for other jobs but wanted to stay for loyalty to the company. In the end if your direct management does not like you, no matter how much you do to improve or show more effort they will force you out.

AJG is the sc-m of the earth. “Leadership” is nowhere to be found and god forbid you have a medical claim on your “employer sponsored” health insurance. Aka they’re self-insured… meaning AJG is the one who gets the calls for preauthorizations so they are controlling your healthcare. This has to be the closest thing to slavery that’s ever existed. BEWARE!

Wait until you file a claim with one of the insured companies, These people are terrorist. If you have a claim against them, don't say a word. Find a lawyer. They have gotten where they are by screwing people over; including their employees.

100% Accurate. Gallagher is a terrible organization with inbred leadership in Itasca and robots in each location (St Clair Shores MI) Everyone is kept in the "dark" and in fear of their job. There is no communication at any level. I did not chose Gallagher as a place to work but was involved in a large acquisition with no choice but to sign on. At the time of the acquisition ...as a producer you are forced to sign a two year "non-compete" or you are unemployed. I signed and two years later I was forced out. The whole scheme of things...make your clients comfortable with Gallagher for two years...and then they cut you lose and give your clients to an intern "robot" to manage your book of business. Long story short...they took my livelihood away and threatened me with a lawsuit if I chose to pursue my clients back by way of violating the forced non-compete. Evil organization Evil people.

Last time is checked, 40 hours a week is the standard work week.
