New CEO set ridiculous targets for 2014, only 5 of 24 business units made their budgets. Now hiring freeze and layoffs in many businesses, and continued 'footprint' shifts to emerging markets. Lowest scorecard bonus in 10 years and no pay raises at headquarters, despite $2.8 billion returned to shareholders in 2014 through dividends and share buyback. I've been at headquarters 9 years and have never seen such low morale.

FYI, ABB orders down 12% in 2015, while ceo salary up 20%. Management standing tall on the graves of many good workers.
Same thing in Canada
Management is playing musical chairs, changing from one position to another while ordinary workers get laid off.
Sad to see a former great workplace go down the drain
ABB is laying off people in Zurich, Baden and Turgi sites. The firing sequence is Non EU employee then EU then Swiss in order not to more raise the alarm for already agitated unions.
Managers are told to just reduce their head count no matter what. Well I just can see no manager he been fired do far and the ABB mafia managers get rotating position here and there.it is only ordinary employees getting effected.
Is the hiring freeze still their at ANN
Agree great culture Hogan created being destroyed with micromanagement and intimidation- good people are leaving and no one has hope
