Thread regarding Kaplan University layoffs

I am with Kaplan

And I am really surprised that no employee decided to post here - it's very tense here at Kaplan right now and I am puzzled why employees are silent when many other for-profit schools have very active boards here. I am not counting Camden as he posts on all layoff boards.

I work at Kaplan and I have to agree with the Glassdoor reviews. It is a good place to work, and I think most employees would agree.

@Anonymous102848, there are several factors that can explain this silence and it's not unique. At some point the number of Kaplan employees (and former employees) on this site may increase as word of mouth about layoffs continues. University of Phoenix has also had a large following since their site closings in 2103. Corinthian Colleges was first to explode in popularity, then Education Management Corporation, then ITT Tech. Kaplan has been lucky to have deep pockets and lots of political influence to avoid becoming infamous so far.
