159743 - guess NOT being an SME in severance benefits means him/her hasn't been laid off in their career. That's not a bad thing.....
45% chance they let you keep the conoco branded water bottle new hires get. 95% chance your severance in loonies would fit inside said water bottle
Guess you aren't a SME in severance benefits.
I am hired as subject matter expert and dont need any trianing from COP
In the USA if you sign the "do not sue" form 3 weeks per year. The labor laws in Canada are not the labor laws in the USA so other factors are in play in Canada. The internal documentation for Canada is no complete so resources are limited. Expect pay to the end of the month (max 21 days) and six weeks severance. And unemployment benefits.
No training after 1.5 years well that explains why you are going to get laid off.
4 to 5 weeks, max.
You could probably negotiate an internship where you dont get paid.
For 1.5 years you should be able to keep your phone
I don't owe them shit for training I didn't received any
You probably have to pay them for the training you received.
