This is a bit of layoff news based on Bloomberg report earlier today where they said that 350 ESPN employees will lose jobs. ESPN has about 8000 employees as of October 2015 and that will be a bit over 4% workforce reduction. Viacom started cutting resources earlier this year, and ad revenue keeps dropping with more money moving online (thank you Facebook and Google) and more folks cutting cable subscriptions. The trend will continue, and 2016 layoffs will be even bigger, this is my opinion only.
