The company takes good care of employees, it can be better but overall, ACS is pretty fair especially if compared with some smaller companies which tend to be fairly cheap and ruthless when it comes to employees. ACS has solid benefits and vacation plan, etc. However, the big problem is that the company needs to adopt or it will die and it's hard to change when you have some groups (I will not name names) that are so deeply entrenched and do not want to change anything. They do this to protect their turf, benefits and perks, and power when it comes to managers. This is rampant in ACS, it's a big problem and it has to be stopped, even if Alaska Communications needs to lay off people I would still do it as otherwise the whole company will become obsolete and will collapse.
