Hess in a hostile and caustic work environment. Surprised they have not been hit with a lawsuit for s-xual harassment and hostile work environment. Recently sold the last asset that would keep them going and they having been bleeding red for a very long time. All pension employees that were not laid off were converted to a 401K plan and all information indicates that the company will be sold in 2020 if not sooner. With all the layoffs they are subleasing their office space. Morale is very low and many folks that were not laid off are leaving since workload is unmanageable.

Michael is bad and terrible. I agree Zhanna's goons from BHP are on the same boat. It always comes top down.
As I said Michael is an imbecile hired to be in management. He is unfit for the position as Trump is unfit to be President.

As long as Hess has management who is irrational, control freaks, incompetent, etc like Michael Panarella it will never get ahead. I think that should answer your question why you have so many cuts in IT is because Panarella does not know how to control budgets. All he does is kisses managements asses and looks to be an obedient guard dog. In reality this is most foolish person to be hired as management.
