Thread regarding John Deere layoffs

No longer can a farmer buy a John Deere, International (now Case International, Ford or Allis Chalmers (now White-Allis) tractor made in USA....

Seems Mexico - Canada - China - India - and other countries outside of USA get those manufacturing jobs.

THANKS TO: The recent 6 different Presidents,

ALL OF THE 535 USA Representatives,

100 USA Senators and

50 State Assemblies

for TAKING ALL THE LOBBYIST PERKS and sending all manufacture jobs to these other countries. You have BANKRUPT USA, and become wealthy lords....

TERM LIMITS NEEDED NOW TO BRING THESE JOBS BACK TO AMERICA….

Canada? Deere closed its only manufacturing plant in Welland Ontario in 2010. Over 700 employees were laid off. The jobs were moved to Mexico and Horicon. Design engineering jobs moved to India. Maybe Canada should not buy Deere products.

Most of your comments do not pertain to the post. Do any of you know what a new tractor or combine cost? And there's hundreds sitting on dealer lots all over the country. Deere is now waiting to make new ones when they are ordered. So there is no doubt all kinds of parts sitting in a warehouse some where. So why should they be making more? As someone mentioned it is the value of the dollar. Other countries can not buy our products. We have had two good years of crops so there is an over supply. This had nothing to do with what party is in office. If you owned a business would you keep making product with no buyers?
