There is no opportunities for job growth, career development is slow. Management will promise promotions, and then they don't go through when it's needed - it's all Novartis fluff talk - nothing helps... Layoffs also happen at Novartis - my group was spared. I've been with the company for about three years. Management is average to poor at best - many of them have spent way too much time within the same company, they have no clue that their way is not the only and the best way of managing things.

I agree with everything you have said about Novartis. Go ahead and work for them but beware. I lost all respect for the drug giant.
I agree with you!! Management at the Suffern Ny facility was one of the worst I have ever had to deal with. I hope that the rest of the facilities for Novartis have better educated and smarter managers. How ever I will never in my life attempt to work for Novartis again, nothing against the company itself but I would hate to go thru the same crap that the Suffern plant did!!
