I call bullshit, the company and its management don't know what is going on. It was doomed from the beginning. Oxy new what was going to happen that's why they did what they did and chose the leadership it did. I don't feel bad for them. They deserve to get delisted and file for bankruptcy.
Same here. I was laid off on the 17th. I actually feel bad for all the ones still with the company. They are doing more work and its gonna be a stressful environment. That's really sucks.
I was just part of a layoff that occurred February 17,2016 Around80 in Bakersfield
Happening now. Heard 200 so far
Tell the head guys to have mrc drop their prices. Then maybe some can keep their job
Any idea when? My source says next week
Heard through a friend in HR, deep cuts. This is for survival, 70% field staff and more than 50% office staff.
Going through another round of "layoffs" again within the next few days or weeks.
What do you mean not a layoff? Message said staff reductions. Are those not classed as layoffs? Any timing on this
Technically not a layoff, which would have been have to be reported as such. But supposedly 20% per department or a minimum of 2 had to go. The way things are going for CRC, more in May. Having lost 90% of its stock value in 14 months not long before they get delisted. Since it was not a lay-off not obligated to give a reasonable severance. This follows CEO Todd Stevens saying a few weeks ago that employees should by CRC stock, Real push made at meeting where he said this was last of layoffs - meaning October 2015 and after all of the early retirements. There were a lot too.
