To the individual that thinks outsourcing is only bad for those being outsourced, outsourcing can be bad for a multitude of reasons. Most of which are usually overlooked or considered acceptable (until the pain is actually felt) due to how cheap the labor will be. There's a reason why there's an outsourcing cycle that consists of "Let's increase our profit margins by outsourcing, all that bad will happen." to "We are going to bring things back in house because quality of service we were expecting isn't being met and the cost are more that what were expected." to "Let's increase our profit margins by outsourcing, all that bad will happen." to "We are going to bring things back in house because quality of service we were expecting isn't being met and the cost are more that what were expected." and so forth. The three articles below give examples of just a few of the things that aren't taken into consideration or just dismissed outright. While outsourcing does have its place, getting rid of every position that's integral to the daily operations the IT infrastructure doesn't work in the long run.
