Back in 2013 Bob McDonald magically discovered Google and Facebook, and P&G decided to shirt more ads in that direction.
So, Bob decided to eliminate 2000 positions across the board so he can move more ad dollars into digital. In Summer 2013 this actually materialized and I was laid off.
Given my skill set in advertising and an economy that was picking up the steam I was lucky to find job relatively quickly. Most of my colleagues did find jobs very quickly after the layoff.
