How is severance pay calculated for the current redundancies?

There was only 1 round of layoffs in the first month after acquisition closing. Hiring and expansion began within weeks of that event.

Severance package is very good and will depend on your tenure with the company - some people are getting 6 months while some others 1 year of paid severance, all off this depends on how long you have been with the company, this is a standard practice and not unique to ARRIS or PACE...

Many divisions still have full product redundancy and a ton of positions are true duplicates. They will come up with roadmaps and eliminate redundancies, the work on roadmaps is starting as we discuss this...

Once roadmaps are done they will know where redundancies are and will go after those groups or individuals, so nobody is safe as you do not know what's going on on the other side.

Now, since the packages will not get better and I am assuming they will be less generous with every new wave of job cuts, I am thinking about leaving ASAP before things become too nuts...
