Thread regarding Taylor Morrison Home Corp. layoffs

On Wednesday, they layed off about 100 people with no notice. Brutal and sh--ty.

They are a sinking ship, peter principaling new hires to their incompetence! They hired a Div. President from outside the company from Chicagoland in Naples and she has no clue about home building and how to do her job! All she does is talk about people both in her division and others, putting them down to to try to make herself look better! She is classless!

No loss with this company. The CEO pretends to care but she is really not a very nice person and it trickles down to every DP, VP and Manager.

Also, if you have talent it won't save you here. It is about how loyal you are to management. Management isn't very strong and seems to have low self worth so they need employees that make them feel important.

I saw it coming for about a month...
I was first to go in my division. No warning, a text from my VP at 7:30 am to go to meet him in his office. There VERY poorly executed if you ask me! I had to listen to the CEO try to sound sincere on a company wide "Huddle". Spare me your BS. I hope it made you feel better, because it made my blood boil!

Oops, thick thumbed the last comment! It's sad to see a company that was rising so high sinking so low.

None. My numbers were better than the person they kept on board. Quadrupling work load for the people who remain.TM is making some moves that indicate desperation. I would not invest in them at this point. Quite sasad
