Here is another article signalling that more job cuts might be in works - I have no insider info as I left in 2013 but I still have many friends over there and I hope things turn out good. i worked in the corporate office. I was layed off at the end of the day on Wednesday and on Friday my job was relisted on the careers website. obviously, its for a lower title and less pay. thanks for nothing RL.
Its not really his fault, its the all the Europeans he's brought in to run his company. Does Valerie Herman really need to make 8million$? They handed out bonuses the same week they did layoffs. I'm certain my immediate team would have taken a pay cut to save head count
They have already started laying off people. Starting with top management jobs.
About 50 stores will be closed - that's your 'small layoff' - not really, and there is a ton of supporting roles that will be affected, regionals, etc...
