We see a video about the preferred scheduling and how they saved 5k hours in OT, yet they slam us in the queue every day and let the early crew go home but an hour later they offer OT and cancel all offline activities, so the late shift gets screwed with back to back calls and then write people up for availability and after call! What a crock this stupid company is! Please put us out of our misery and just lay off all the CSR'S in Denver! We beg you! DTV used to be a great place to work, everyone HATES going to work now!

Same here, not impressed at all the the ATT way of doing things. The almighty dollar is LITERALLY all that matters. Even the benefits coming in 2017 look like crap.
during the latest all-hands meeting the LABC site director scolded us that if we have a problem with her leadership was to "look for another job". Great morale building AT&T!
I so understand how awful it is to work for att/directv. I retired early just to get out of there. I heard the huntsville, al call center layed off some people. Anyone HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT THAT??
It's the same in Missoula. There is no CB contract yet, so they are doing what they can to thin the herd now before it's a bit more difficult. If it's any consolation (which it probably is not), they aren't just treating the CSRs poorly. Talk with your DTV trainers and coaches, if you have any left. We have one coach (traveling as a trainer), and two trainers left. They are starting to write them up for not wanting to travel, calling it "insubordination". When I finally leave (if they don't fire me first or I actually find work, at least Denver is a bigger market), I will cut all ties with AT&T owned companies. T-Mobile will eventually get my cellular business when I move out of this area, and I've already priced a much less expensive cable pkg w/internet that's a locked rate for 2 years that will be $100 less a month than what I might pay for the same with DTV. So sad what AT&T has done to such a nice company to work for in DTV. Mike White got his golden handshake and made his way outta here.
They did that for a reason: they hope you would choose to leave on your own instead of they must laying you off with would force them to pay severance package.
If I ran AT&T, I would "torture" ex-DTV management, so that they would leave. If they don't leave, then I would find a way to fire them. Well, that's the way of life in corporate America, so don't be mad.
