Can anyone confirm that the Phase 1 stores are all closing or have already closed ? This would mean that the Phase 2 stores will be closing next.

Whats the meaning of phase 4?
Sure glad I left Sears 20 years ago. What a pathetic shell of what it once was.
Each store is in only one phase. It is not several things that they do. The phases are the groupings of stores and when they go to the "one touch" program. Everything is supposed to go directly from the truck to the sales floor. With that many people, yes you will be laying off plenty soon. They may wait and do all the stores' layoffs at the same time instead of by their phases. Things are deteriorating quickly though, so who knows.
Just found out today that all stores in our district are now considered Phase 3 stores. The overheads are up and have been removing items from BRL to the salesfloor. Is Phase 2 the layoffs? We have SM, 2 ASM's, HR, 2 Key Carriers, Full time Specialists, etc. Just wondering what to expect next. Though we would be one of the last stores to go. Lease isn't up until next summer.
No, not all phase 1 stores are closed or have even announced that they are closing. There are also a lot of phase 2 stores that have announced they are closing or have already closed, so I think that when they make the decision on when to close certain stores its more on a store-to-store basis compared to phase 1 vs phase 2 stores.
We are listed as a Phase 2. We laid our ASM and FT off Feb 26. The stockroom purge was supposed to begin a couple weeks after, but they delayed it and we just finished it this week.
We cleaned out the stockroom about 3 months ago... We let most of the full timers go around 4 months ago... We still have our 2 asst managers but we haven't had a store manager in almost a year
When did you empty the stockroom and let your asst managers and most full timers go ?
All phase 1 are not closed.. My store is a phase 1 and we have not announced closing yet
