It is really going to get ugly

Stock buybacks holding stock up will not last forever

Watch top 1% insider trades

Write the Board ; Crain; Tribune ;Barons;WSJ; Forbes lets get some articles published and give the old farts on the Board some serious heat They are a disgrace letting Ryan run this great company into the ground

They announced the Lincolnshire, IL call center is closing on July 29th. They had originally told employees the call center was being moved to a vacant warehouse in Northbrook, IL but have since informed staff they have three choices - work in the call center in Waterloo, IA (5+ hours away), work in the call center in Janesville, WI (2 hours away) or accept a severance package. All employees were caught completely by surprise. This layoff was either carefully thought out and they were purposefully deceptive with employees, or was hastily put together without careful thought. Either way - poor change management. All Grainger employees should be very concerned.

Not sure I agree with 300 branches closing just because I don't think there's that many left. Profit sharing, I agree. Funny how long tenured employees are suddenly deciding to retire when in reality they had no desire to. That's a prime example on how this company is forcing their employees out and could care less. The management team is nothing but a bunch of puppets and don't have the balls to speak their mind. The team in Panama is a joke. Glad they were hand picked. Hopefully senior management has eyes in the back of their heads.

That place became a joke. I knew when they rolled out the bullshit 5 years ago that they were going thru changes and it's gonna take that long to complete , I knew Grainger was going under. They lied about not closing shop. They gave people barely any notice when they closed branches. They didn't want us to jump ship before they could push us overboard. They became a micromanaged call center with changes occurring every day. They don't know what the customer needs, they just kept raising prices and the customers got tired of being told it's because of the service we provide. Start looking for jobs NOW, because you're all going down!!

Why move Corp office to UK when they've been comfortably ensconced at the Big White Castle for all those years? I don't doubt what you've posted, but that seems the most unlikely.

Keep those posts coming!
