Thread regarding Freescale Semiconductor Ltd. layoffs

I work out of banglore now with much bigger company than Freescale and worked in auto business of FSL noida few years back , I don't want to say anything negative here but can the high attrition in noida be explained by great positive atmosphere created by new country manager ? Also all high performance engineers as per FSL criteria are queueing up for jobs every week in banglore

New Country Manager at NXP has brought in positive hope for all employees after long time and what I heard is there is absolute positive atmosphere after his arrival. Offcourse all low performers and incompetent folks seems to be in panic 😊 I plan to join back NXP again seeing so much positivity and good work restarting again.

What a ridiculous comment.. Finally xFSL/NXP has a country manager who actually cares about people.. Versus the previous one whose sole purpose in life was to do politics and trash everyone in India.. You are probably just a low performing guy who doesn't know anything except to talk bullsh*t..

Interesting, I heard the similar stuff going on in xFSL India, heard there is continous unrest in the noida centre and strong undercurrent building due to new appointment of country manager and NXP mgm is totally unaware and unconcerned of that , also heard that new guy is self glorifying himself through daily emails and also spreading rumor that he is promoted to VP in 3 months whereas there is no formal announcement to this in the company ...wow what a discipline, or a broken system

They are systematically laying off employees who have been at FSL for long periods of time (higher paid) no notice and no respect for people who were there 29+ years. Is it so hard to tell those people that there job is being eliminated and give them 45 days to find a new job?

Is FSL Noida not doing good ?

It would be great if someone can let me know, Are these layoffs from Digital Networking group ?

My friends in Freescale saw this guy drunk sleeping on reception and vomiting and even the HR and Administration are equally junk , I think no need to layoff now as people are already running out ...heard qualcomm already in noida and I am sure they will have easy life with this noida mess
