With Nabors long-term debt position @ $3.5 billion, selling Canrig off wouldn't even put a dent on their long-term debt exposure.

I hear talks of Canrig being liquidated to cover Nabors bank loans within a year. Has anybody else heard this or know truth to it ?

at Canrig Magnolia facility Night shift got moved to days and lost 3 people. MFG lost several seasoned employees. approximately 30 people in total. Some were a complete shock. All will be greatly missed when management realizes how much they actually did on a daily basis.

Where did you come up with Canrig going away? Personal opinion or based of something that has been heard? I had heard about a "management shake up" could possibly see a big hit at Ryan, and the Magnolia night shift. Possibly front office personnel as well. You would think if the layoff was to impact stocks it would be done before the next quarterly report.

And you are correct there are tons of small signs of something bigger happening but with the way this company is ran they will keep the employees in the dark right up until they get walked out. Doesn't do much for morale.

A consolidation is coming and had already started. Look for Canrig to go away by the end of the year to make the year end books look good. Does Ryan even have any work?

I could see a mass layoff in the next few months just for a stock price bump. It's too quiet with all sorts of little signs of something big about to happen.
