Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

25 Years and Out

Sounds paradoxical, but after 25 years I couldn't get out of HP fast enough, the place is an absolute textbook example of how to destroy a great business, over complicate everything, make it extraordinarily difficult to spend money with them, and leave your staff and customers ripping their hair out by the handful, good riddance and thanks for 25 years of learning it the hard way.

Much happier in a real company that just works...

You couldn't get out fast enough? HP has been what it is, for better or worse, since 2000 and Carly Fiorina. If you are just leaving now, you clearly were not in a hurry cashing the checks the past 14 years.

Very happy for you mate! I got laid off 10 years back. I haven't been happier. You won't miss it.

Do the layoffs at HPE have anything to do with the merger of CSC? Because CSC is laying off people like crazy since the merger...

Congratulations! Hard to believe that there aren't legal implications to the mismanagement. Follow the money I suppose.

Congratulations!!! It's sad to see how this Company is being torn apart. I agree with the people that say it will be sold in pieces until eventually become acquired by (or merged with) another desperate big Company looking for survival, while the CEOs will make ridiculuous amounts of money.
