Thread regarding ACE-Chubb (Chubb Corp.) layoffs

Greenberg and Chubb's board

Chubb was very loyal and decent to its employees. I know I worked there for over 30 years. That all ended when Dean O'Hare left. He was the last vestige of integrity the company had. When Finnigan took over the strategy was set with Chubb's board. Streamline the company and get it ready for takeover. Get a buyer to offer a high stock price and make the board members rich. Greenberg is a chip off the old block. There was no one that had a more nasty or meaner reputation in the insurance industry than his father. Claim service at Chubb will suffer. Watch for a loss of customer base. Sorry to hear the worry and misery Chubb employees are going through.

These ace managers are not up to the job. All they know is yes Evan. Exodus only speeding up. Should be fun to see how warren move out goes. How many people can Evan shove in whitehouse.

Chubb/Ace has become a sweat shop. Evan and other Senior Chubb Management are driving it off a cliff.

Quality is gone and morale is low. Time to find new cheese Chubb/Ace employees.....try CNA where some former Chubb Senior Management have gone?

Friends say they eliminated some of the best people. Chubb is not the same anymore. Very unhappy employees. Taking away medical for retirees while spending a fortune on Greenberg s office and perks. Finnegan destroyed a good company and got millions.

I left Ace after the merger due to job security and chaos.

I learned my managers job was eliminated.

Old friends say business is suffering
