I was told that the whole worldwide servicedesk will be outsourced to india, in the interim 1 in australia, 1 in singapore and 1 in sweden have been fired.

IT services is next as 2 ppl have already been fired, 1 in usa and 1 in singapore.

They will combine 2 departments and have 1 manager and 1 team leader and thus save money and reduce headcount and outsource more services to india.

Eventually Qlik will reduce headcount globally by combining department functions and services and reduce management and cost.

Once complete by 2019 to 2020 the company will be sold to the highest bidder for no less than 6 billion usd

Im guessing ibm, salesforce, investment company or even amazon will buy Qlik

"where the CEO told everyone how personally painful this down-sizing had been for him."

Right... he's viciously sacked people for years there. Like hunting someone down on family vacation to fire them. Or firing the president the night of the company Christmas party and bringing in his replacement to attend the party.

Fantastic all-employees meeting today where the CEO told everyone how personally painful this down-sizing had been for him. I'm pretty sure it was more painful for the people getting down-sized, but what do I know.

Yeah I think it's 350 people so far worldwide. Lots here in U.S. See you all on LinkedIn!

Some in UK and India. Rest of the Europe and US will be next. If you're in consulting and you're on bench with nothing on the horizon, you better start looking.
