Ageism in TI

I remember when TI was a fun place to work in, but now your days are numbered here if you are over 45. They discriminate you systematically on so many different levels, most of all through secretive ranking system designed to punish you just for your age. If you haven't found your way to the top by your forties, it's better for you to pack up and leave before they decide to let you go.

Well known with TI. Lawyers are how they get away with it. They also avoid American workers when possible. I am 1 0f two Americans in a group of 20 design engineers. It's criminal

How TI can get away with age discrimination is beyond thinkable. Statement made if your over 45 and regardless of your contributions your days are numbered.

This is true at most companies now. The age discrimination is real. The hurtful thing is millennials will walk off a job in a heartbeat, but baby boomers don't stand a chance in getting hired.

You are not wrong. I worked in Dallas till late last year, and can confirm that this is true, at least it was like that when I left.
