Ex-Employee here. BD was laid off! finally! Not sure what PUSHED SENIOR STAFF cause they bulwarked BD. BD brought zero business! Most companies hold BD for sales goals. NOT CCS! I was bashed for verbalizing up once! Senior staff lives in bubble. READ > GLASS DOOR REVIEWS - ALL TRUE about senior mgnt. U might verbalize cruel on my component? Nope. think ALL THOSE people laid off due to temerarious managers. CCS aka Titanic was headed to the iceberg mgnt never turned wheel. ISSUE many senior managers 10+ at CCS. Stubborn, blah blah about strategy ZERO ACTION each Quarter, WALL UP, only discern to field commanders. I hope comfort to ALL ex-CCS employees who suffered being layoff.

I am amazed this company is still around. I worked at the corporate office and it was chill. This company lacked the leadership to compete with the big players like BDS and Premium. Many people around the office always said Andy and Vida lived in a bubble. Always with the corporate BS speeches but no action. Personally, Andy and Vida needed to be replaced as they are not executives with leadership abilities to take the company to the next level. Plus, these peeps were paid 200K + a year according to the rumors flying around the office. I left for a better job offer. I hope the company continues to thrive.
Well, hey. I was there for 9 months as a contractor and everyone was pretty cool. There was some tension, but it never involved anything that I was involved in. Mostly good people all around. I sensed that some people were being let go at one point and then it got to be very obvious. I had an offer to go to another contract, so I consulted with my manager, expressed what I saw happening and that I had a chance to work somewhere else. The manager said "That sounds like a good idea at this point." So I left, but eventually missed the good people I had met there.
Funny this post was about layoffs 2 years ago. Rumors floating around all layoffs were MEN! The company has been pushing to have more women in the work place by one executive. Tomorrow I will find out more about the layoffs and repost.
Dude you guys need to chill big time! Former CCS #lifer here (lol) that worked at the corporate office. First let me call out the bitter former employee above haha =) (I get your anger). The VP you are chatting ( I think) is just another solider. Limited control. My observation from a distance. Guy was chill and cool. My pay was respectful but no growth-zero-raises at all. Company lost Samsung a decade ago and never recovered says #CCSlifers. The issue is at the C-Level execs. Glassdoor reviews spot on: "Execs live in a bubble." CCS needed new fresh VPs. Glassdoor reviews said many VPs at CCS for 10+ years?! Plus too many executives paid exorbitant salaries to do what??? Blame the leaders. Do you blame the coach or players when team not banging? Listen I left cause layoffs became a company tradition every year. Found a good gig with internal growth, raises, and company expanding. I hear Marketstar removal from BBY saved CCS from closure?
From Glassdoor - former tight employees probably told to post on Glassdoor upon departure. LOL
"A company with heart :-)"
Cool kick back job for many years. BUT I left because no best-in-class and only "heart" if you ran in the tight circle with C-Level. hey I was treated like sh-- at the end but I moved on. You all should do the same.
I gave my LIFE to this company at CCS. #lifer. Own coworkers were backstabber talking trash about me. SAD. I wanted to promote but lied to my face! #1 no raises #2 no bonuses after working days/nights #3 External hires only (no promo inside) #4 This one killed me - woman NEVER promoted. ALL MEN. VP of field only cares about his bonuses #super sad. six figure salary # promote himself. cheap manager. #temps managers cheap labor. Not respected VP. He hated me. #equal no respect. Never got even a gift card #somethingATleast. Other colleagues were butt kissers. Remember takes one to make one. Peace.
