Layoffs of Energy & Metals Employees?

Since that WSJ article came out about Cargill wanting to sell Energy & Metals, has anyone heard anything about upcoming layoffs?

We'll have to see what is said during the Town Hall on 9/27/16, but I don't think much can be said during a 30 minute meeting...probably just the ol' keep your head down, focus on the task at hand, etc.

I had heard that some people near the top were no longer there. I'm not sure if that really happened or not (I'm in a totally different area of the company, but we sometimes hear stuff). However, there are a ton of deployments going on where roles are being offshored to shared service centers around the globe. If your enterprise hasn't had a bunch of process people sniffing around, you probably will at some point. If that happens, get ready to start training your replacement (and, believe me, that's no fun).
