Thread regarding EmblemHealth layoffs

This management needs to be replaced

This management needs to go, starting from the CEO. The only thing he knows to do is to find an outsourcing firm, and even that job someone else does for him. In a meantime, EmblemHealth is dying slowly and soon it will be no one left in these few departments that aren't outsourced yet. Almost forgot, the BoD needs to be held accountable too for allowing this mess to happen in a first place.

All the jobs are going to Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp not KPMG and although Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp is registered as an American Company majority of the jobs will be overseas. All Provider Calls will be handled in India and most of the Customer Service Calls will be handled in the Philippines both countries known for enormous fraud (They will have access to over 3 Million Americans Social Security Numbers and countless Provider Tax I. D’s) and we know President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines hate Americans.

Some Customer Service and some Authorization Calls will be handled in Tampa FL by poorly trained Cognizant Technology Solutions Employees by April 2017.

It is said EmblemHealth was losing close to $65 Million daily and need to make some drastic changes, but Frank Branchini should have been fired if he allowed the company to be in this financial mess instead of retaining his Board Seat.

Karen Ignagni was placed in a bad position, but instead of learning the company and its culture to determine what lead to its sudden failures she put the task into someone else hand who’s only solution was to outsource (It would not surprise me if this person as shares in Cognizant or stand to make millions over the deal……I was always told never to trust anyone from Texas) and she ran with this drastic measure without thinking on the impact it would have on the company.

Since Mrs. Ignagni and EmblemHealth Board of Directors cherish the lucrative New York City Employee Contract it is up to Mayor Bill de Blasio to step in and demand that his employees Personal Information is not send overseas.

Cognizant already has their hands on claims and customer service. Members and providers are not happy. People need to be made aware before December 7th that they will no longer have an U.S. based call center starting January. Why is this still not hit the mainstream yet?

Was a loyal management employee who was let go with a thousand plus American workers. CEO Karen Ignagi has sold out a great company by laying off all American workers so Illegal immigrants on H1b Visas can handle the outsourcing. The worst is Company Benedict Arnold's travel to Mumbai to assist in loss of american jobs.Total unAmerican injustice. I hope company loses their only income the city and state contracts.

I don't understand how the NYS Dept. Of Health or the federal CMS is allowing this to happen. How will they be able to perform the required site visits for the Medicare and Medicaid lines of business?
