For the Lateral joiners, Please do not join because they come with the knowledge ,which they gained from their previous organisations. Once you get into Wipro, they will make you to loose it slowly, forget about getting new learning and opportunities, whatever you had knowledge will end up by loosing it completely and finally a door will be shown to you by insisting to put paper. Pure Managerial company. We should learn from Tata at least that Company will grow by making changes at upper level not at down level.

I worked for wipro for last 4 years and left recently.Learning curve is not so great here....
Previously I worked with Accenture and HP.
After Working with Wipro for for more than 4 years....I feel it is true to some extent.
Laterals are not given any respect there.The quality of WASE program resources are not upto the mark.1 in 10 is performing good.
Laterals will stuck by waiting for the onsite opportunities.There are many flaws in operations and process.They never allocate a right resource on time to any customer.

all indian I services are pretty much same. They hire people with core skill and destroy them by putting them in disguised management roles, where in u end up polishing the fools they hire thro campus interview. Interestingly sdents who score hign in screen test re being eliminated from interview rough and only mediocre people preferred.
Architect are hired and put in business development in thier non core domain area .
Not all are fortunate like you, stay there as much as you would come to know.
Not sure that I would agree. I learned a lot and I kept my knowledge. 2nd year here.
