I'm out. Have applied to leave and have another offer which I have accepted, non US company thankfully.
Took VR from HPE last year as I was fed up with the constant threat of redundancy hanging over my team and I as the company spiralled to the bottom.
Joined CSC last year. Who'd have thought I'd be rejoining the HPE madness 9 months later? You just couldn't make it up.
Businesses restructure, I get that, but US firms seem to have this as part of the norm. Don't address the underlying problems through the year (indeed a cohesive long term strategy is a concept that consistently eludes them) then cut cost end of Q3, i.e. Jobs. Thousands have been shed by both parties this year.
However what really annoys me is that the CSC leadership will pocket $90.5m from the merger. It's just wrong, simples.
