$1.50 less per hour multiplied by 2,080 (the work hours in one year) equals $3,120 savings per employee. For every 100 agents, this saves TeleTech $3,120,000. And there are more than 100 agents on the floor. Plus some of those already have received their $0.50 per hour raise, which means newer agents come with an greater savings for the company. So, for the sake of round numbers, if there are 200 agents - with quite a few if them at the slightly higher rate - the savings to TeleTech in the end is probably closer to $650,000 per year per facility. Still don't think you're in danger? Maybe you need to be drug-tested again.
