I experienced 8 weeks of severance after 31 years. There is no documented policy. A number of people let go at the same time as I had the same experience. You can expect nothing from this company.

I wouldn't get hung up on CSC terms HPE'rs.

I say this because very little of the detail of CSC today is a product of the current management, its a product of evolution over decades. Policies are all over the place and can have all sorts of variations depending on where you came from.

I suspect when we all get flipped to NewCo contracts a lot of this stuff will get changed anyway.

They do NOT publish a written policy on this! Believe me. I have known people who were given notice "Your last day will be in 4 weeks" and they got $0 because notice was provided. Severance is a complete joke if you have some decision hanging on that - just go with $0.

These responses are all over the map. Please cut and paste the policy in this Box. This is important. not only to me but hundreds of others. Thanks.

What I heard from people that were let go, you get nothing unless your a manager of some sorts

And now this year you don't even accrue vacation time.

Last I heard it was 1 week for every 2 full years of service - so if you're at 3 years and 11 months, you get 1 week
