They always need staff, they hire all the time - Cedars is a good hospital to work at, it's cutting edge and it has very good reputation.

I was recently terminated after 15 yrs of nursing practice. Don't fool yourselves. Cedars has become a greedy irresponsible corporation placing the burden on the backs of employees. They have overspent by buying other hospitals Marina Del Rey and Torrance and they can't pay there Bill's.
CEDARS SINAI MEDICAL CENTER WILL HAVE LAYOFFs of PCT's aka CNAs and LIFT TEAMS in JULY 2018
nope- they laid off last year 2017 in may. check out california WARN notice for dates. heard they will lay off more in 2018.
Of course they have had layoffs they just hide them from the media. The have had several over the past few years. Administrative staff (MA's, IT, and donations/campaigns, staffing for stock). Dont be fooled they do them every ~3 years they just dont have to publish if they have a small number over a period of time. See CA WARN law. In general they dont touch clinical staff. In any case, UCLA pays better with better benefits and isnt a sh*t commute so I am not sure why anyone would work for Cedars. That includes clinicians.
Cedars is good with money. They always send bills timely.
