The future is cloudy for Series 6. Larger fill factor exposing design flaws in package. There was a reason original modules 600x1200....

Concerns about Series 6 have led to associates leaving FS. Testing indicating package integrity suspect. Same problems with previous models reappearing on larger module.

Short term gains...

Long term loss.....

Series 6 will implode if ever rolled out...

SunPower is just one example of a company that will make a solar panel more efficient than First Solar years before Series 6 launches. And if these competitors can match, or beat, First Solar's costs, the product upgrade could be a disaster before a panel is ever produced.

The quiet before the storm.

Too heavy, dark soak, corrosion, long term instability.

Series 6 too heavy ...has same issues of previous series... moisture ingress ..etc ..etc... performance failure over time in field....

USA demand down, prices down. The numbers used to justify launch of Series 6 have changed significantly. What's the odds that this launch will be successful? Anyone still remember Series 5??

Series 6....metal rails affixed to the module? This didn't work with Series 4, very doubtful it will work on a larger module.

FSLR banking on Series 6.

Too little, too late.

This time missing the target will cost them.

Recent setbacks in PBG give little optimism for long term success. Many key Associates leaving for long term security elsewhere.

Can Series 6 seriously compete?

YieldCo for sale... Scrounging for cash to fund Series 6, or to fund bonuses for the higher ups. Just a matter of time.

Bad news from the Whitehouse for the clean energy sector.

Stand up on your own merit or wither on the vine. Series 6 better pan out.
