Hello All – I was let go a few months back and wanted to let you know that there is life after you leave. It was hard initially, but things start to fall into place and you move on. My advice is to take care of your network of friends and business contacts while you still have a job – something that I could have done much better. Those are the folks that will help you stand on your feet and will help you find a new job. Remember, all of us have gotten very good skills at Wolverine and while the job market is not ideal right now, there should be a job for you (it’s not going to be super easy to find though). So, keep your chin up, brush up that Linked in profile, work on your resume and CALL your friends. I hope that this round of cuts is not going to be as big as some here are indicating – all the best and Godspeed.
