It's here Its now ! prepare for your futures ….Guess what mid and upper levels? You'll get the axe too. Especially when they learn how you have been robbing peter to pay paul, and skewing numbers. The Max system is a LIE, its manipulated by upper level managers to skew numbers so they can hide from the truth as long as they can before they are discovered and receive the Uber Cardboard box treatment. Things didn't go as planned here, and now they are going to put the last nails in the coffin for this area they are GOING TO break the Local Unions, and break shrinking work groups even further !!!! And if you strike ?your positions will be eliminated and replaced with different titled similar positions. They are looking to keep young ones on and hope to move them to contractorship when they pull the last bit of rug from under your Feet. Its laughable some of the "pro" comments here ….Too late they are not even hiding what they are doing …. and completely obvious Jeff Storey has No Idea how to run a telephone company ….probably more importantly he has no INTENTIONS of continuing to keep on rank and file...customers no longer are a part of the equation its all transport, and bottom line good luck everyone. you are witnessing the death of giants AT&T Verizon and yes now us

CURRENT FACTS:

-CenturyLink has set up more of its organizational structure on the operations side as it prepares its merger with Level 3 Communications - and inherits LVLT chief Jeff Storey as its chief operating officer.

-Storey has already been set up as the CEO-in-waiting, set to take over CenturyLink's top job Jan. 1, 2019.

-When the merger's done, operations will be organized into five business units, each with its own president: Strategic enterprise, federal government and state government (Edward Morche); Global accounts management and international (Laurinda Pang); Small and midsize business, local government and education (Vernon Irvin); Wholesale and indirect (Lisa Miller); and Consumer (Maxine Moreau).

-They will be supported by four functional support groups.

-The deal's still expected to close by the end of Q3.

It's not a far fetched assessment. If history repeats itself Level 3 will hire contract HR personal and start layoffs the last Friday before the end of the quarter. They will then layoff people the beginning of November and then a big push will be in December. Merry Christmas from Level 3. It is the company MO go back and look at all the Level 3 casualties throughout the years of their M&A.

What do you think it means when the two companies say Synergies.

Ha! So they lay people off on Sundays now? Stop the rumor mill. All the states have not even approved yet. two California consumer advocacy groups said they want California regulators to further scrutinize the deal.
