The IDG department laid off 13 employees on May 15, 2017. The CTO sent out an email regarding the layoffs to the department emphasizing that he always puts JHA ahead of his family and personal life. Implications were also made that this was the beginning...there is more to come. The employees that were retained for 45 days were encouraged to apply for open JHA positions. Every employee that was retained during the "transition" period could fill a current opening. Now, the trust is gone and current employees in the department are seeking employment elsewhere.
This is NOT the way Jack Henry is supposed to treat employees. It goes against the core values and foundation of the company. I guess the CEO and board don't care. After all, stocks are at a record high.
