Cannot complain about Cox too much - I have about 15 years of work experience, Cox is my forth employer. Probably the best one so far. However, Cox recently had job cuts and this has made the work environment less family like. Cox has always put our employees first... Until now...

Cox, for a change, should let technical support folks be technical support and stop forcing them to do primary sales.
Ancillary sales should not be negligible alone.
Folks call in because they are having problems with your technology - they have some kind of technical problem - when they are calling with an issue, the last thing they want to hear is "upgrade, "add new", "excellent offer", "expand service"...
I am in Fort Smith, AR - our quota keeps going up. My manager has no clue and is all about being passive-aggressive - overall - I feel I am treated like a number. Nothing more to this. Maybe the main poster above had a better experience as she or his in IT and they get paid well regardless, but for me it's not that great and I will leave Cox as soon as I find something better.
