Anybody else really worried about what the merger will bring for us if it goes through? We are overworked as it is. For years now, Time Warner has been refusing to back-fill any vacant positions, instead just piling the work on those of us who are left. And don't even get me started on the management who will leave the second their regular working hours are done, but expect us to stay for as long as it takes to finish the work.
I am worried that if the merger brings on layoffs (which, let's be realistic, it most likely will, no matter what they are saying now) this will only worsen. I am not sure how much more work we can have per single employee, I already barely see my family as it is.
It's wait and see for now, I know, but I am not looking forward to what is coming.
