It's funny how people get scared at the mention of word layoffs in relation to AT&T merger, when Time Warner's been laying off people every few months under the guise of reorganization for years now. This is nothing new, it's just not as well packaged. Morale always suffers when reorganization is mentioned, but it goes back up when it's done, so I guess people are quick to forget unless it's a major number that were let go. I guess from now it will not be as easily ignored...

Time Warner employees that think they have it bad now will be unpleasantly surprised by the crappy Dallas culture that infests AT&T.
Nothing funny about AT&T, I heard that they have constants layoffs for years,
You might consider popping over to "Latest Posts" and ask yourself if it's normal that so many huge layoffs are happening at the same time, across all industries and corporations.
I think your bubble is soon to be burst.
