New procedures and policies are announced weekly - it's so process heavy it's stupid... The rules are often contradictory and this results chaotic work environment with low employee morale.
Offshoring is so rampant, outsourcing is in the DNA - Hihgmark pushes to move as much work offshore as possible. Staff simply does not have time to do documentation or training, this creates stress...
So, every day we do a ton of admin work which limits time that's needed for project work.
Experienced individual contributors and SMEs pushed out door leaving no one to provide advice, give knowledge, train you and make you productive.
I am certain that layoffs will continue as they try to squeeze every penny out - this is not good for business and quality of our IT products is dropping, projects are slipping, etc.
