Thread regarding W.W. Grainger Inc. layoffs

Grainger - Not as good as it used to be

Used to be cool - good work, good pay. Things have changed, people are leaving in droves...

  • Our Part-time folks have now had their breaks taken away from them

  • Management makes every effort to you you the employee under the hours needed that allows you to take breaks

  • Part timers are to be kept under 20 hours per week - they are really into this - this s---s...

You do not need layoffs here to be unhappy, just look at how management treats employees

To the hourly team member in LA

Wise up

Ryan & Jardin have left this sinking ship called GWW with mega millions

You been screwed !

You benefits cut , wages frozen . Don't take my word for it

Get on Google and search It is all on the web

It is tragic how the hard working loyal like you have been abandoned by the top 1%,Board ,Dave Grainger & Jim Slavic

Recommend you fight back Get a union like Teamsters to protect you

Not so, at all. It still remains a good place to work, but just as all reputable companies with a service to offer, Grainger is doing what needs to be done to counter Amazon's aggressive business ventures! I am an hourly team member at the Los Angeles Distribution Center in Mira Loma, and may very well be subject to a future layoff, but I know it will be as a last resort!
