Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

The Power of the MCK Drug Cartel

While not naming MCK directly, this Washington Post article details the power of drug 'distributors' to undermine the efforts of the DEA. Apparently this qualifies as an ICARE principle.

I think of McKesson every time I watch Narcos. If Pablo Escobar was CEO, would they really be that different?

Statement made on 60 minutes that all the CEO's of the big distribution companies should go to prison & that they would not do well in prison is spot on....the greed is beyond comprehension. Certainly at the top at McKesson.

@PL7xbjb-njz: What you're describing is simple capitalism. This is the worst kind of exploitative, predatory capitalism. When so many Americans and their families are being ravaged by the opioids distributed by this company, which then proceeds to have the DEA knee-capped, there is something seriously wrong. It's the worst kind of corporate corruption. And they have the nerve to claim that they're 'concerned' about the crisis.

Good on 60 Minutes for airing that episode too!

Shocker. A large corporation works all the angles it can to make money. So surprising.
