I need to know when layoffs will happen here in Houston.

Ya dude, pack your sh-- your gone next week.....If your so paranoid about getting laid off then find another job. It’s not worth working there if your constantly worried about.

Lots of closed door meetings with managers, no revenue from the new intervention systems, anybody got the 411 on potential work force reductions?
Worst Job I ever had, the job itself great except for the lying backstabbing of the managers many of the supervisors and superintendents, military cast offs fired from the military, angry people, good old boys with single branch family trees that's Oceaneering in a nutshell. Work for a great company now, home very day, holiday pay 2.5x regular and regular pay that's more than a Superintendent offshore makes.......yea I miss them, but if I had aids I'd miss that more..........worst company ever.
This company was great and used to care about there employees but now its a sh-- show! Cut pay, cut safety bonuses, cut travel,no one is getting promoted, cut healthcare and now they cut the one (and only one) holiday pay. If you work on christmas you dont get holiday pay and alot of those guys don't even want to be out in the middle of the ocean working for sh-- pay on christmas but cant come home til the job is done! b---s---! Time to look at different and better companies for employment! Oceaneering needs to get their heads out of there a-- and care about there workers offshore! Thoes guys are the onlu reason why oceaneering is still standing!!

I heard after the holidays like last year.
When you see the managers meeting offsite each evening for about 2 weeks late I’m the afternoons, and they all show back up around 6pm to go to their offices. People stop asking you questions. And the one day you drive up and there are security guards in all of the parking lots, grab your parking pass from your vehicle, your laptop,and your badge. If they have stopped asking you questions, downloads files from computer you want and clean out your computer. Bring boxes and start clearing out your desk. If you weren’t chosen, you can choose what you really needed in the boxes and bring it back. You wont have a chance to touch your computer again or anything in your office.
