I can't understand what the management is thinking for the life of me. We are having layoffs when all of our projects are already chronically understaffed. It's not even a surprise, anybody who's been with the company for a few years knows that layoffs are by now something we are sadly all used to.
Smart leadership would have figured out by now that the layoffs are not helping in the long run, only giving a temporary numbers boost that just goes back down after the quarter. But if there is one thing we know by now, it's that Nuance leadership either is not that smart or simply does not care. I'm betting on the second one, since their pockets are not hurting.
