The Harman plant in North America, Franklin,KY, suffered lay offs the beginning of 2017. Around 30 employees were let go. The process was very formal and the company ensured the employees laid off were taken care of. The plan discussed was that there would be consecutive lay offs following this one as products were established and relocated to the Mexico plants.

Are there new layoffs in Michigan
I'm sorry you were laid off. I was forced out of Corporate America. I now get to stay at home with my toddler and HS Sr. I work my own hours with a mobile business. It can be done anywhere remotely anytime. If you or anyone you know is looking for something to supplement, or save for rainy day call 901-281-6460. God Bless you and the other 31 families.
I was one of the people laid off in January 2017. Its true that I and the others were taken care of by the company. Harman was a wonderful place to work when I started there years ago but all the changes in management over the years and the death of Dr. Harman led to its downfall. The company no longer cares about its employees. Its such a shame!!
This is true, the company was fair and my husband was taken care off. It's a pity that we are sending jobs South and to Asia but that's a completely different topic.
I've saw the news today about layoff announcements and I would like to wish the best to all who are affected.
