My husband was laid off. Couldn’t get back into WF for life of him. WF has changed drastically. Is now unethical and doesn’t seem to care how unhappy some of the employees have become. And the fact the scandals seem to increase by the day is not a good thing at all. I will be exiting the company by Years end. But doing so by choice as long as I don’t get laid off 1st.

After 17 years with the bank, I was let go in April 2017. I have three kids in elementary school and an unemployed husband. The whole layoff process took about 30 minutes.

I loved the bank and I gave it everything I could, at the end, all it took was some remote decision to cut 4 people in my dpt and my name on the list. That was it. 17 years down the drain. 0% compassion.

I worked in a department where an employee was laid off after 20 years with Wells Fargo. She thought the same way as you, until her unexpected exit.

I hope John Stumpf and Carried Tolstedt are doing well and living comfortable lives they seem like very nice people. They were victims of these low level employees who thought just because they made minimum wage they could be high and mighty and scapegoat them.

Writing in all caps really made this statement more believable. Not.
