It is a terrible shame that they are laying off thousands of workers, some that have spent most of their professional lives at NYL, and sending all those jobs overseas.
Why would they do that? It is not because they are hurting financially, it is not because they cannot meet their financial obligations, it is purely a matter of the bottom line and big bonuses for the top executives.
Gone are the days where NYL was the company you keep. They even removed that tagline from their advertising.
